CO2 Campaign

DDS Vietnam has cooperated with the North Vietnam College of Agriculture and Rural Development (NVCARD) to conduct a campaign of raising awareness about the importance of smallholder forest owners in good forest management. The campaign was named as "CO2 campaign" taken place in the campus of NVCARD on the 30th of June 2018, which had been designed to be launched in four DFE partners from Vietnam, Nepal, Mali, Bosnia & Herzegovina and also in Denmark. 

The campaign has attracted hundreds of people who are principles, lecturers and students from NVCARD and three other agro-forestry colleges. They have been well aware the role of forest playing on the earth related to carbon dioxide absorption as well as the role of forest small holders in forest responsible management. After the campaign, every participant committed to go towards to six goals among 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
